About Dr. Mashal

Elisa S. Mashal, M.D. has been practicing medicine in Arizona for 13 years, after moving here from Philadelphia. She studied opera and jazz arranging as an undergraduate on a music scholarship to Temple University and has performed professionally in musical theater, where she also honed her skills as a professional makeup artist. After graduation, she studied pre-med in an accelerated program at Bryn Mawr College and qualified for early admission to Hahnemann University Medical School, from which she graduated in the top third of her class.

Dr. Mashal went on to do her residency in Family Medicine at Montgomery Hospital, in Norristown, PA. She has worked extensively in high pressure Urgent Care environments, performing hundreds of procedures and also in practice with Scottsdale Healthcare Family Care for three years, where she developed a large practice made up of many female patients who desired guidance toward rejuvenation procedures.

Being a woman, Dr. Mashal understands first hand the concerns of other women, and what their aesthetic goals are. She encourages her patients to bring in pictures that they consider aesthetically pleasing to better communicate the results they are looking for. Her sense of humor, sensitivity, empathy and down to earth manner are what she credits as the main attraction that her patients have for her. Her attention to detail, strong sense of integrity and responsibility to her patients are what keep them coming back.
